Flyers Tailgate

About 30 of us tailgated before the game under sunny skies and under I-95 with the new Eagles stadium was looming in the background. This led to talk of the 1,000 person tailgate coming up this fall. Back to this tailgate though - we had 3 grills cooking up Wings, Pork Tenderloin, Ribs, U-15 shrimp, Butchie's Shiskabobs (look for Butchie recipe on the recipe page soon!), Fresh South Philly Hot & Sweet Sausage, Portabella Mushrooms, Hot Dogs, Calzone and a Bloomin' Onion! Our beverages included ice cold Heineken, Bass Ale, Coors Lite and Coke. Special guest appearance was made by Ed "Boxcar" Hospodar. I don't know if we can call Boxcar a guest anymore because he's become a regular at these Flyers Tailgate Parties! Thanks to everyone for bringing an appetizer or something for the grill.
We'll be doing it again during the playoffs so look under coming events for the date.
