South Philly String Band Everyone loves the Mummers and especially the String Bands. Just throw your arms up in the air like the karate kid, stick out your tush, prance around like you've had a few and now you're doing the Mummers Strut! I've been associated with the South Philly String Band since 1990 and it's a great organization that's all about playing music, having fun and enjoying life - right up Tailgate's alley! If you would like to join the band, hire the band for a party or just check out what they are all about - go onto their website. South Philly is coming off a 5th place finish and 1st place Captain's prize in the 2002 New Years Day Parade! I've been down to Mardi Gras marching in parades on four different occasions and
you want to talk about a good time! Go South Philly!

Sweet Baby Rays

If I was on a deserted island and could only bring two marinades/barbeque sauces the first would be Mojo - that great Goya product with lemon & lime juice, garlic, herbs and secret ingredients. I will use this on any type of meat but especially pork tenderloin and chicken breasts. The second is the best barbeque sauce that I have ever and I mean ever come across and that is Sweet Baby Rays. I got turned onto this in February 2001 when I was grilling during Tailgate James' outdoor hockey practice and I've never looked back. There is something special about SBR and you'll see what I mean when you try it. If you want to treat yourself and be a big hit with your family and friends then you have to give Sweet Baby Rays a shot. Plus SBR has one cool website and the man himself will be coming to the second 1,000 Person Tailgate Party this year on 10/28/02. You can get both of these great products at your local grocery store.
